"Sanity Profanity" is a setup made by BBmolla as a result of a change to a terrible setup proposed by wgeurts in the open setup discussion thread. This same discussion eventually lead to this setups 7 player cousin Bad Cop, Insane Cop.

It is a 13 player open setup using standard rules.

Mechanics

  • Cops are not told their sanity.
  • Traitor is told who is mafia at start of the game. Traitor is recruited if killed by the Mafia.
  • Traitor comes up innocent on cop investigations.

Roles

Mafia Framer

Visits one person each night, that player shows up guilty on inspection that night.

Mafia Traitor

Starts town-sided and knows who the mafia are. If he is killed by the mafia he is then recruited into them. He only wins if the mafia win.

Town Sane Cop

Visits one person each night, he then finds out that player's alignment in "guilty" or "innocent".

Town Insane Cop

Visits one person each night, he then finds out the opposite of player's alignment in "guilty" or "innocent". (So if framer frames his choice he gets "innocent".)

Vanilla Towny

Just a Vanilla Towny.
