My History

My first experience with Mafia was at a party during high school. Due to a series of unfortunate events, my partner was lynched the first day and I was left with an incredibly bad stance where everyone was suspicious of me. Fortunately I killed the cop the night he investigated me and then proceeded to sweep the rest of the game by quickwagoning the people who suspected me the most. After that party, no one seemed to want to play Mafia despite my constant pleas and begging sprees and I quickly forgot about the game.

Fast forward 2 years and I am a gaming forum looking up strategies to beat a boss. As I am scrolling down to the guide forum I notice a forum that I must have looked at over 1,000 times titled Forum Games with a subtitle (including Mafia and post games!). I never gave much thought to what the word Mafia meant in that title until I decided to click on the forum and reread some of the past games. A game involving one of my favorite flavors (a video game) was currently underway and contained many unique roles. While I was reading through the game, someone linked a role source to the Mafia Scum wiki and here I am now.

So far I am having a ton of fun and I hope to meet and play with all of you!

I replaced into this game as a favor to Farside22 and immediately suspected the scum that would win the game in LyLo. I made a gambit that outted 2 scum members for their interactions with me at the time at the cost of my own life. I replaced into this game as a favor to Farside and finished my duty of catching 2 more scum given my new role. It was a lot of fun to come back from the dead.

Drew scum with Sixty! Unfortunately Empire nailed their play as scum driven. Tammy made that slot impossible to lynch as well. They were able to get a mislynch on Day 1 at the cost of their own life leaving N and us in a difficult position that only became more difficult when Justin Timberlake replaced into the game.

I didn't have much time to play this game single handedly so I asked for a hydra and Mehdi2277 answered the call. It was a really fun game and Mehdi's plan to claim a desirable night kill target worked causing the last scum to kill himself by shooting us.

Fun game with timeater and Mehdi2277. Tim was the Cult Leader and nice actions on the town's part prevented him from recruiting someone until later in the game. The final day was between myself and Mehdi and the town chose Mehdi for the win.

What can I say about this game? I was scum with Vi? It was a multiball game that kinda surprised me given the strength of our own team. The other scum team killed two of our power roles in the first two nights both of which were in good standing with the town leaving my scum team with three separate individuals who had no way to communicate with each other. Justin Timberlake nailed me as scum. Can't wait for His Dark Materials Mafia, right Kdub?

My role was a double doctor that had a timed day to occur after a certain amount of posts were made. I made two people become obvtown with a Dayvig gambit on Tierce and caught GreyIce scum as a result. I also caught another scum member before I was killed. Interesting game with unique roles. I really liked the mechanic in this game although some players were pretty mean to each other. Sorry Glork! Third longest game by post counts on MafiaScum.

Replaced into this game and onto the team called The Captains. I was Captain Falcon in this game and played with many good players that call MafiaScum their home. My teammates Tammy and Trojan Horse were both fantastic. Fun fact: Both are college professors. Tammy really helped me play this game as she was able to read Cogito Ergo Sum correctly leaving me with my second choice of Llmarble. Trojan and I helped Tammy in her game as scum with Tammy and I helping Trojan in his game after our fourth teammate flaked. Town were able to catch the remaining scum due to their poor play. Good job guys! We should change our team name to The Professors. Not many people were happy we won Team Mafia this year.

Due to the knowledge of my role I was able to call out several players as scum who happened to be scum across the two teams. Both towns won this game in the end after chesskid3 claimed Mafia. I was given a role that did not have my role or my win condition so I was wandering around blind. I played in my opinion a very aggressive town game, but others found my play scummy and so I was lynched as a result. My fakeclaim was made because I thought I was potentially a Serial Killer or a Mafia Traitor and caused the town to fumble around for a few days after my death. Town lost to a scum mason. No wonder those things are considered bastard. :P

Replaced into the game under the hydra Palisade to help out mastin2 who had his other partners flake out on him while he was experiencing difficulty accessing the Internet. I played a weird game. Most of the suspects that the hydra suspected were scum excetp for MagnaofIllusion who completely fooled me by curry-favoring me when everyone else thought I was scum. I pushed the hydra's suspicions rather than my own against Thor665 which caused us to get lynched due to hydra dissonance. I'm sorry guys! At least we won! :p Mostly eaten by the tigers now.

First Large Theme Game and my first time playing as a third party. My teammates were incredibly helpful and the town and mafia pretty much did our job for the first part of the game, but bad play and horrible inactivity lead to the cult being eradicated. Town won in a rather cheap way when a replacement for a cult member outted the final two scum. Fun game with cool roles. Looking forward to part 2.

First and last Newbie game. The inactivity and sheer natural scummy tendencies of the players in this game lead to an easy win for the mafia team. We lynched the cop the first day which pretty much sealed our fate as town as everyone became much, much less active. The play in this game was typical of a newbie game which is why I will never be joining another one again. Ended my three win streak as well.

Second game on Mafia Scum and my first win on the site. Hoopla created a game breaking strategy that quickly lead to a town win. I nailed one scum for his play with regards to the town plan and named the other 2 as likely scum. This game shows that balance and reviewing is needed in order to have a fair game. This game is also where I met Glowball.

My first game on Mafia Scum and I think I played reasonably well for a person who had basically no prior mafia experience. I was able to nail the traitor and the final scum in 3p LyLo for the town win. Excellent vigilante play rescued the town from the jaws of hell more so than my individual play in my opinion.
