Big Love

Name: Big Love Setup Size: Large Players: 19 Setup Type: Large Designers: Adel Zindaras

Big Love is a 19 player Open setup which is mainly characterized by the mass amount of lovers, hence the name. The original idea was created by Adel, and she and Zindaras worked it out into the following setup:

Setup

• 3 Mafia Goons
• 1 Mafia Lover
• 9 Vanilla Townies
• 5 Town Lovers
• 1 Doctor

Mechanics

• Daystart
• The Lovers are tied together in three pairs. Two town pairs and one mafia/town pair.
• Each pair is able to communicate during the Night phase.
• If a Lover is lynched or nightkilled, the other will immediately suicide.
• The Doctor only saves a Lover targeted by a nightkill, ie; a Lover who is due to suicide will not be saved.

Mafia Goon

Abilities:

• Factional communication: During the night phase you may talk with your partners here [QuickTopic link].
• Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partners may perform the factional kill.

Win condition:

• You win when all members of the town have been eliminated or nothing can prevent this from occurring.

Mafia Lover

• Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Lover, along with your partners, [Player Name], [Player Name] and [Player Name].

Abilities:

• Factional communication: During the night phase you may talk with your partner here [QuickTopic link].
• Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.
• Lovers: You are a Lover with [Player Name]. In the event of one of you dying, the other will commit suicide immediately.

Win condition:

• You win when all members of the town have been eliminated or nothing can prevent this from occurring.

Vanilla Townie

Abilities:

• Your weapon is your vote, you have no night actions.

Win condition:

• You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.

Town Lover

Abilities:

• You are a Lover with [Player Name]. You do not know their alignment.
• In the event of one of you dying, the other will commit suicide immediately.
• Each night phase, you may talk with your lover here [Quicktopic link].

Win condition:

• You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.

Town Doctor

Abilities:

• Each night phase, you may protect one player in the game from being nightkilled.
