Guilty is one of the results an investigative role (such as a Cop) can receive when they investigate a player. Depending on sanity and how the moderator sets up the game, there are a number of different reasons why a Cop would receive a guilty result, such as:
- a Sane Cop investigating an anti-Town player (e.g. Goon, Serial Killer)
- a Sane Cop investigating a Miller
- an Insane Cop investigating a pro-Town player
- a Paranoid Cop investigating any player
- there may be other game-specific situations where a Cop would receive a guilty result
