Newbie 1240: My first Newbie game. I was scum. My MafiaRolecop was lynched D1, and I was forced to fairly heavy bus. The town was being led by Agar, but luckily he had pinned me as town. Game was looking like it would be a win for me; there were plenty of mislynches more favourable and likely than me. However, my luck turned for the worst. The top suspect was run up and claimed Jailkeeper, which I didn't CC. He had jailed the second most likely suspect the night before, leaving four other players and myself as suspects.
I managed to push a mislynch and killed the conftown that had been jailed. No suspect stood out the next day; I was probably the most suspected by a fractional margin, but it was clear I would likely lose. I tried to cast some suspicion on the jailer, which worked to some degree. Agar called a massclaim and I decided to jump in and claim cop off the bat, hoping that my eagerness would look town motivated. The jailer believed me, and I was unCCd. Unfortunately, Agar didn't, and it led to a swift demise.
Liked my play here.
Mini 1332: My first game on mafiascum. I was scum. I replaced in D1 on a slot that was the leading wagon. The wagon grew shortly after, but a nice VT claim and a scumsave by my partner destroyed the wagon fairly quickly. We were close to deadline and paranoia was intense, with people trying to form any wagon that would work. We jostled between wagons until another scumbuddy was taken to L-1, and claimed cop. He was unCCd, and the wagon quickly died. Eventually we ended up with a VT mislynch.
That night we managed to kill the actual cop, by fluke. He hadn't CCd for some reason, but he was an x-shot cop, and our fake cop copped a townie and called him out as town. This gathered his support. I and my other scumbuddy acted in disbelief, but luckily there was not enough support for a lynch and we ended up getting another mislynch on a town neighbour, due to neighbourhood paranoia.
The next day the fake cop was run up, and I did the duty of hammering :(
D4 Om the Nom was pushing me hard, after calling me out as scum. We flooded the thread, but eventually another mislynch went through on a lurkery player. No one waited for a claim, and he happened to be a jailer; a jailer that had stopped my scumbuddy the night before from killing. Luckily, no one picked up on it.
The next day quickly ended in a no lynch, pushing us towards mylo. Unfortunately, I hit PGO that night and was killed, leaving Slandaar alone with three townies. He managed to push through two mislynches for the win. My favourite game to date.
Mini 1337: I tried a different style here as town. Unfortunately it brought me a fair bit of flak, but I managed to accurately pinpoint two of the three scum by D2. However, I loosened my read on one of them. We mislynched the first day, and lynched scum the second. I was killed that night by a JOAT. Our Hider was also killed, as well as another townie, pushing down our numbers. Luckily the JOAT managed to pick up on the crumbtrail, and lynched the second scum. The final scum was likely to be caught, particularly with our final PR claiming Innocent Child. However, the final scum, Arugula, managed to push his way to a scum victory.
Not too happy with my play here, but liked my reads.
Open 402: My second favourite game, and my favourite game as town. D1 was a mislynch, and also had a hider claim. A scum was also runup on D1 after a bus gone wrong, and claimed VT. D2 I jumped in foolishly and started pushing a player that ended up becoming conf shortly after, giving me scumpoints. While we jostled between wagons, I came up with the suggestion of no lynch, which was unanimously supported, giving hider more time to hide. A PR softclaim led to a WIFOM kill on a VT, helping us out even more.
D3 opened with me being the conf. I and the other conf, Venmar, managed to slow down the gamestate and, eventually led to confidence amongst us and other townies that one of the PR's should claim. This led to two PRs claiming, giving us five confs. Andrew, the Psychologist, faked a guilty on one of his scumreads, which quickly led to a lynch, that luckily was correct.
The next two days followed similarly, even with an attempted counterclaim that, unfortunately for scum, didn't work. We managed to lynch through the entire scumteam to victory. My only game thus far I have survived in.
Happy with my play this game.
Open 417: Town game. Played terribly. Got buddied by both scum D1 and pushed a mislynch. Was killed N1 and maf buddied each other all the way to a perfect mafia victory.
