This various of the Town Godfather role was created by Haylen who used the idea that with every force there is an equal and opposite reaction. Abilities being the 'equal' part and alignment being the 'opposite' part. Just like the Mafia Godfather was investigation immune and sent in the kill, so did the Town Godfather.
The Town Godfather is investigative immune and can send in one kill per night. He does not know how the rest of the town are, and the rest of the town does not know who he is.
