I began calculating MMPs in March, 2010. After coming up with the system, I went back to all the games I've moderated, both completed and abandoned, and included them into the scoring.

MMPs are awarded in any Mish Mash games I've moderated. However, they are only awarded in games where players are competing against each other and a ranking system can be used in the game. Because of this, Blood Sword cannot be calculated into MMPs; the game did not have players competing against each other.

MMPs are calculated by the finishing rank of each player. Each player that plays in the game receives MMPs. The higher a player finishes, the more MMPs awarded. The formula for calculating MMPs is here. In the equation, n is the number of players, k is the finishing rank, and b is either 100 (game completed) or 50 (game abandoned). This formula allows higher scores for better ranks in completed games with more players.
