So... You wanna know what Incog Theory is, eh? Is that why you're here? The phrase "Incog Theory" was first coined by someone named blurrystar1 (OMG, I think it was her, though I'm not sure) on the other site I play Mafia games. She used it to name the theory I developed that reads as follows: the first person to post in a Mafia thread is mafia lol. So where did this theory come from?

I ended up voting someone and seriously pushing the vote for about 10 pages or so just because the person was the first person to post in the thread. I used meta analysis to show that 50% of the time the first poster in all of our previous games was mafia and 50% of the time the first poster was town and that this time HAD to be the time the person was scum. Nobody bit the bait though. :| I thought I'd catch overanxious scum willing to believe a crap-logical case. =)

Now whenever someone votes the first poster in a thread on that site, someone will usually mention "LOL INCOGZ THEORY" or what-have-you. Hmmm... Now that I think about it, I should actually go back to previous game threads on that site after the point Incog Theory was first introduced to see if scum now have a tendency to not post first out of fear of being called out as scum based on Incog Theory. That would be hilarious.

I used Incog Theory here too: Newbie 516's arbitrary alphachick vote, and I guess it worked to an extent. Fun times. :D

Oh, and I will not include any information on my page about past games that I've played in. Multiple reasons for this that I won't go into. I will, however, include the games I moderated. =)

  • This was a Glork-modded game that was advertised as needing a mod to rescue it by MeMe in the Replacements Thread. I took it over and ran it successfully to completion.
