Twilight

The time between the theoretical end of the Day, when enough Votes are put on a person to Lynch them, or a Deadline is reached, and the actual end, when the Game Moderator posts a Death Scene (if any). Contrast with Daybreak.

Mods have varying policies about when posts are allowed in Twilight; some allow posting as if it were still Day, others would rather all game-related posting cease. There are a number of discussions on the subject in the Mafia Discussion forum. A poll in this thread gave overwhelming approval to the policy that if the Game Moderator doesn't say anything about it in the rules, is it permissible to post in twilight.

The term was coined by Sketchwick for use in mafia games.
