Template:Scummer

Usage

This template is used to place a box on a Scummer's User page. This box uses the {{profile}} template, so this template will automatically include the page it is on in Category:Scummers. This box also contains links to the User's talk page, and also links to send them a forum message, and a wiki message.

Syntax

Paramaters

{{{1}}}

the number of the user in the MafiaScum database, also called 'user number'.

• The user number can be found by looking at the URL of the user's forum profile.

To find a user number, follow these steps:

• click on the user's button from any post on the forums

if you are having trouble finding a post by the specific user you are looking for, click on at the top of any page, enter the username you are looking for in the 'Search for Author:' box, change the 'Desplay results as:' value to 'Posts', click 'Search', then click on the username on the Search Reults page

• in the address bar of your browser, you should see the URL of the page

Example: in the forums, the URL for mith's Profile is as follows:

http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1

• The user number directly follows "u="; in this case: 1

Make sure to check the user number before placing the template on a page. Using the wrong user number could result in a link for mith linking to jeep's forum profile.
