Survivor: MLS was an 20 player anonymous Survivor game run by BROsideon, Xalxe and BiPolarChemist. It ran from February 17th, 2017 to April 07, 2017.

Although billed as a Survivor game, MLS had much different mechanics for the pre-merge. The players started in two 10 person tribes, MLS East and West. There were no pre-merge votes and no swaps. Instead players individually put together 18 player teams of soccer players. At the end of the first five rounds which took a total of 15 days, the 4 people from each tribe with the lowest team scores were eliminated from the game. Once drafted a soccer player could not be unsigned. Ways to gain players were as follows:

- Tribal challenge rewards. Challenges 1, 2 and 4 awarded a list of soccer players to the winning tribe. The players ranked their tribe and drafted in order from highest ranked to lowest. Challenge 3 gave 5 folders to each tribe who picked five players from the other tribe to receive them. Challenge 5 auctioned off 27 ledgers to the highest bidders.
- Puzzle Draft, offering 15 soccer players a day drafted in order of who completed the daily jigsaw puzzle the fastest.
- Allocation Draft, where five random soccer players as well as undrafted soccer players from challenges and puzzles were added to a draft list. Drafting order was randomly determined to start, then went down the list from the top, moving any player that drafts to the bottom of the draft list in priority.
- Soccer players could be traded once a day with other players, resolving at the end of the day after Puzzle drafts.
- Codes were hidden in places such as Brosideon's MS Wiki page and by posting certain alcoholic drinks, as well as a forum that could only be seen as a guest. When posted in confessional, mods gave unsigned soccer players to the first posters.

Once the team scores were finalized and the 12 remaining players merged, the game played as a normal Survivor merge with votes being cast. Team scores were never revealed and were still relevant in three ways. One, there were no revotes if the votes were tied. Instead the player with the lower team score was eliminated. Second, if a tie happened in a challenge, the player with the higher team score won the challenge. The challenge rule came into effect during Challenge 11 in which Columbus beat Portland via team score. Third, as the jury was even, if a tie happened during Final Tribal Council, the higher team score would win MLS Survivor.

Three idols were publicly announced at game start. They were unusable until the merge began as no votes took place before that. - The Lamar Hunt US Open Cup was the reward for opening all the Lamar Forum links and guessing the address of the Ainsdale pub. This idol was won by New York Reb Bulls. - The Supporter's Shield went to Houston who had the highest team score at the end of pre-merge. - The MLS Cup was hidden after merge began as a puzzle link in the source code, on the stylesheet page. The puzzle had to be completed within 15 minutes to quality. Portland Timbers found the link and gave it to Sporting Kansas City who completed the puzzle. The Final Tribal Council had one final twist, in that posts were limited. Jurors were allowed to make up to three posts. One starting post, and one follow up post to each finalist's questions. The finalists were allowed two posts to answer the posited questions. At the end of FTC, Montreal (hiplop) defeated Seattle Sounders (mv_gimmick) in a 10-0 victory. The votes were heavily influenced by a challenge in which mv_gimmick cheated for which he received a month-long game ban. The MS thread can be found here.
