King can refer to a role that is central to either of two Mafia Variations.

In Kingmaker

King Alias: none Alignment: any Role type: Voting Choice: Day Notes: Only role allowed to choose who is lynched during the Day in Kingmaker games.

A King is a player chosen by majority vote who has sole say over who gets executed (lynched) that Day.

In Assassin in the Palace

King Alias: Heir Alignment: Pro-Kingdom Role type: Voting Killing Choice: Day Night Notes: Does not know who anyone is. Wants everyone not a part of their kingdom to perish in Palace games

In War in the Palace

The King is a player who is central to their Kingdom. He can attempt 1 kill at any time when certain conditions are met. If the King ever dies, their kingdom falls and their guards will suicide.

In Rebels in the Palace

The King is a player who is central to the scum. If the King ever dies), the game is over and the Rebels win.

In Execution in the Palace

The King is a player who is central to the scum. He can kill only at night. If the King ever dies, the game is over and the Rebels win.
