In June-August 2004, MafiaScum was plagued by a handful of spam topics which shared a few interesting features: they were all posted by a guest, two of the three were in The Whole Sort Of General Mish Mash (probably because it's the highest-numbered forum, most likely to be a general forum. The first did wind up in General Discussion, though.), and they all advertised relationship-related services that are based in Russia. Of course, they all spawned intriguing topics that have next to nothing to do with the actual content of the spam.

As of August 2004, the topics that fall into this handful are Want to be loved, My girlfriend in Russia admired my choice!, and I found love in Russia.
