Methodical Mafia

Methodical Mafia is a variant invented by Mr Stoofer.

Instead of submitting choices each night, each player with a night choice must send the Moderator a list of all their targets for the entire game during Night 1. For Night 1, that player's first target is the first player on their list. For Night 2 their second target is the next player on their list, and so on. If the next target on a player's list is already dead, the Moderator ignores the target's name and goes down the list until they reach a living player. Once the Moderator gets to the end of the list, they start again at the top of the list.

As run by Mr Stoofer, if a player wants to target someone on consecutive nights, the player could do this by having the target appear in consecutive positions on the list. Another possibility would be to allow players to specify that their target should be the top living player on their list.
