Rolestopper Alias: none Alignment: Pro-town Anti-town Role type: Protective Choice: Night

A Rolestopper's ability is to stop all night abilities from affecting a certain player. Usually, but not always, the Mafia kill or all kills are excluded from the abilities that can be stopped. This role is not to be confused with the Roleblocker, who stops the target's ability.

Rolestoppers are typically limited to games where roles with night targets are very common, or else the role can be underpowered as town or overpowered as mafia.

A Jailkeeper that rolestops its target is sometimes called an Alien.
