A Hated role is a role that requires less than the usual amount of votes to be lynched.
Usually, a lynch is when a majority of votes (half + 1 of the total amount of players) is reached. Hated townies typically get lynched before 1 vote before that majority.
This is usually ancillary to the primary Role for that player; for example, if the Moderator decides the Miller will not hated, then he is called a hated miller.
