Template talk:Scummer
What's this? --Mr Stoofer 02:52, 4 May 2007 (MDT)
- looks like a template for linking a player's wiki page & user page... personally i think it's unnecessary as most of the time the wiki page is a redirect to the user page or vice versa...

- Which makes me wonder, Why would it be needed to have both an article and a userpage for a single scummer? I don't think I need an "Andycyca" article if I have my User... Andycyca me ^_^ What? 00:27, 7 October 2007 (MDT)
- It's a subject of some debate; some people want to keep information on the 'player' separate from the 'account', some people want everything to be at username, some want everything to be at User:username... there's prior discussion at Talk:User_page. -- Mr. Flay 09:11, 8 October 2007 (MDT)

updated version
using a 'userbox' style, i've redesigned the {{scummer}} template... let me know what you think, and also if additions or modifications are necessary... also requests for other 'userboxes' should be made on my talk page.

userpic variable, and a question
Added an option to include the name of your userpic (must be uploaded to the wiki), which will take the place of . Not very useful for DGB and her gallery of rotating userpics, but it cleaned up my profile a bit. Stupid question, though: Is it more or less confusing to leave off the [[Image:]] prefix from the filename? -- Mr. Flay 15:01, 8 December 2008 (MST)
