Bio

Player on mafiascum since the end of June 2008. Somewhat of an Internet drifter, previously involved in a few communities but now mostly absent from them. Present on mafiascum largely to learn how to be more persuasive as an author, and also to be righteously opinionated as much as possible.

Decidedly a older-school gamer, and most definitely eccentric. Abuses a faulty version of third-person point of view so as to create "sentences" without subjects. Has a mild obsession with unusual setups and lightly-bastardish modding.

Username is pronounced like the letter V. It (probably) has no relation to the fifth of November.

Gameplay

Let's see... things that will interest people spying on my profile for tactical reasons. How's this:

• I like rationale - if you're going to make a large-scale judgment against me, give me an example that illustrates what you're talking about. Of course, you may think that a problem is obvious, but give an example for me anyway; I'm myopic like that.
• I use too many obscure words and semicolons. It's not intentional; it's just how I am. Seriously.
• Call me VI and watch what happens. Or better, don't. I'm usually not kind to VIs.
• I'm normally calm and too kind for my own good, but I will follow lines of suspicion to their ends. Brace yourself if you try to stop me.
• As of now I change avatars with each game I complete. There's no real special reason to this other than that I like to change my avatar every few months and I was too lazy to get a new avatar when I went into my second game.

Newbie 644: Kodak City, Muffin District - Vanilla Townie, Endgamed Night 2, Canceled. Sept 10 2008 - Oct 12 2008.
When I replaced in on Day 2, I put together some very nice cases against three of the six other players. All three of them were Town. Not my proudest moment. The game was canceled because a person replacing in for scum got a Town Role PM and vice versa. Still, a great game by scum - they probably would have won if the game had continued.

Mini 644: Meerkat Manor Mafia - Kinkajou the Babysitter; NKd Night 2; Won. Aug 25 2008 - Sept 4 2008.
I replaced into this game on Day 2 for an obvscum lurker... who turned out to be the Doctor. I nailed scum trying to pull a heroic drag-the-Town-down-but-never-get-replaced tactic, but got NKd afterward. This turned out to be my first win as Town, so I suppose I should take it even though I wasn't around for very long.

Newbie 645: Mafia Massacre - Vanilla Townie; Endgamed Day 4; Lost. Jul 5 2008 - Sept 2 2008.
This was my first game here, and by sheer coincidence it turned out to be packed with people who were very experienced with Mafia and were using this game to get a feel for this site. The result was a phenomenal, yet nightmarishly tough game. Having read "typical" Newbie Games, I honestly prefer what I got. It was a trial by fire, and I came out of it considerably better as a player than I came in.
