General
On a lonely planet, spinning its way to damnation, amid the fear and despair of a broken human race, who is left to fight for all that is good and pure and get smashed for under a fiver?
In a city gripped by fear and greed, on streets greased with blood and tears, who is left to look out for the little guy to see if he's got any money on him?
In a time future historians will one day call the past, and a place I wish I could name but it's been a confusing week, who is left to look out for the man in the street in case he wants his mobile back?
somestrangeflea, also known as Flea, SSF and Fleaboy, is a new MafiaScum player.
Flea is the official moderating man of the Gameshow Marathon on MafiaScum.
Flea currently works in Pimp My Wiki. A list of somestrangeflea pimped wikis can be found here.

About Flea
General Stuff About Flea
- Flea is not Flee, contrary to popular belief.
- Flea is never Scum, except when he is, but even then, he's so scummy he may as well be town.
- Flea came to MafiaScum on a plane which crash-landed somewhere on the Internet.
- According to popular belief, Flea has a reputation for losing.
- Flea coined the phrase "Keffed", the literal pronunciation of the abbreviation "QFT". It is currently unknown whether this will catch on.
Some important facts about Flea have been summarised into the following poem:
- Flea is not Flee.
- Flea is an IC.
- Flea borked QFT.
- Flea won Open 33.
The Origins of "somestrangeflea"™
Chapter 1: The First Chapter
Once upon a time, some of Chris's friends were bored and decided to give him a nickname. It was eventually decided that Flea was acceptable as a nickname, using the logic:
- He's small.
- He's annoying.
- He's hard to get rid of.
A number of years later, it was discovered that none of these are actually true.
Chapter 2: The Evolution of the Flea
Around the same time that "Flea" was decided as a nickname, the Internet was getting into full swing (and by that, I mean "everyone thought dial-up was fantastic"), and Flea needed a username for websites. The first of such websites was quite popular, and Flea was already taken as a username. After making the foolish decision of leaving the "Flea" train of thought, he spent many hours unsuccessfully trying to create usernames such as "Chris01189998819991197253" and "Why_wont_you_give_me_a_username_you_fu". Many rage-destroyed-PCs later, he returned to the "Flea" train of thought, and eventually created the wonder that is "somestrangeflea".

Newbie 349 | Thread | Cornrow Wallace Day 1 | Vanilla, Townie | Killed Night 2, Won | After lynching the Doc day 1, and having the Cop killed off night 1, we assumed the game was lost. I managed to convince the town to lynch scum day 2, before being NKed. |
Newbie 379 | Thread | DanMonkey Day 2 | Vanilla, Townie | Endgamed, Lost | I stand by my argument that we would have won if I'd known that the Mafia were allowed to No-NK in Newbie Games... |
Newbie 398 | Thread | Hyphen-ated Day 2 | Vanilla, Townie | Endgamed, Lost | The last Mafia claimed Cop Day 3 and the actual Cop didn't counterclaim. |
Newbie 418 | Thread | Romanus Day 1 | Vanilla, Townie | Lynched Day 2, Lost | A poor entry into the game, coupled with the fact that there were no powerroles, doomed this to failure. |
Newbie 432 | Thread | N/A | Vanilla, Mafia | Survived, Won | After having the Cop lynched Day 1, me and my partner were looking set to win on Day 2. A quicklynch opportunity arose, but my partner had fallen inactive. The town then realised that this meant he was scum, so I had to bus him. By sending in no kill on Night 2, I set myself up for a Doc claim, a gambit which would have fallen through the floor completely, had the real Doc not claimed! My finest win so far... |
Newbie 477 | Thread | N/A | Vanilla, Townie | Lynched Day 1, Lost | I picked out two players on Day One who I really thought were scum, got lynched, and ended up completely and utterly wrong. So, yeah... |
Newbie 492 | Thread | N/A | Vanilla, Townie | Killed Night 1, Lost | When I finally got around to analysing the game, Day ended quickly and I was killed before I had a chance to post it. Sucks to be me. |

Game | Thread | Replaced? | Role & Alignment | Outcome | Comment |
Open 28: Quack Mafia | Thread | Mert Day 1 | Doc, Townie | Killed Night 2, Lost | The bizarrely high amount of replacements, coupled with the fact that far, far too many of them jumped into the game without reading, and began suggesting that the town do or not do things that were already done, basically hacked the Town's chances of winning down to 0. =( |
Open 29: C9+2 | Thread | N/A | Cop, Townie | Killed Night 3, Lost | I was awful. We were awful. It was awful. I refuse to speak of this game. Anymore. |
Open 30: Fire and Ice Mafia | Thread | CrashTextDummie Day 3 | Vanilla, Townie | Survived, Won | A fantastic game. The last Fire Mafia went suicidal and outed the first Ice Mafia, without actually giving us time to check with the Doc whether or not that was true. It turned out that it was. Very well played by Town, with a correct lynch every day, the game ended with 5 townies alive. |
Open 32: Pick Your Poison | Thread | N/A | Vanilla, Townie | Lynched Day 1 | Lynched Day 1 for idiotic play of the "I WERE ONLY TRYIN TO START DISCUSHIN" type... |
Open 33: Crush Mafia | Thread | N/A | Mafia Godfather | Survived, Won | A terribly run game. If it had been run competently, I'd've been lynched, killing off my goon and causing an instant scum loss. If it had been run semi-competently, the Lynchee would've been lynched, causing the Lyncher to win, and an instant scum loss. However, it was run by an incompetent mod who kept changing deadlines, refusing to replace despite a ready supply of replacements and failing at counting votes, which resulted in the scum being able to quicklynch to glorious victory! |
Open 34: Dethy | Thread | N/A | Vanilla, Mafia | Lynched Day 3, Lost | Despite losing, I felt this was a good game for me, simply because I managed to cause the endgame to be a 50/50 guesswork lynch, which, according to the Dethy page, is as good as scum can get it. |
Open 38: Jester Mafia | Thread | N/A | Vanilla, Townie | Show-Stopper (Jester) Day 1, Lost | Fantastic play on the part of the Jester managed to end the game Day 1. =( |
Open 49: Vengeful | Thread | N/A | Vanilla, Townie | Lynched Day 3, Lost | I got to take part in the day which only lasted 2 minutes. This makes my loss irrelevant. |
Open 52: Texas Justice | Thread | N/A | OneShot Vig, Townie | Killed Night 1 | Shot Night 1 for essentially lurking through the relative chaos and irrationality that was Day 1. |
Mini 425: Generic Western Mafia | Thread | Raffles Day 2 | Vanilla, Mafia | Survived, Won | A fantastic game for me. I found it difficult to fit in after replacing. I managed to survive, though mainly due the fantastic play of the Godfather and my fellow goon. |
Mini 433: Dry, Bland, Generic Mafia | Thread | superstring91 Day 2 | Vanilla, Townie | Lynched Day 3, Lost | Meh... |
Mini 474: Bergamo Bump-Off | Thread | N/A | Serial Killer | Endgamed, Lost | Beautiful game. Loved every minute of it. Came down to a Prisoner's Dilemma-esque endgame, and I managed to successfully gambit myself as a Bulletproof townie (I had a one-shot NK immunity). I'd've won if I'd made the right Nightchoice on the final Night... |

Mini 419: Farkle Mafia | Thread | Nocmen Day 2 | Vigilante, Town | Killed Night 2, Won | The theme started becoming worthless after around Day 3, and the game kinda stagnated midgame. That being said, an enjoyable endgame was had by many, especially the Town. |
Mini 481: Speed Mafia1 | Thread | N/A | Vanilla, Mafia | Vigged Night 1, Won | I was killed off by a Vig Night 1, but excellent play by my partner and the Traitor, combined with Townie modkills, managed to win the game! |
