This was my first MS game with buldermar and Syryana, and my second with orcinus_theoriginal. There were other players of note as well. For me, this was a terrible game. It was the first time at MS I had a strong town read on a player on page 1. Saying that on page 1 was a terrible idea, and it got worse from there. buldermar was scum and did a great job of taking advantage of the paranoia I sowed, and I did a terrible job of sticking with my reads. Eventually, I self-hammered. Something I'm not likely to do again any time soon. This game was where the idea for the Selkies hydra was born. And town won. The scum team was buldermar and pitoli. AngryPidgeon is a fantastic mod. I look for his games in sign-ups.

This was the first game where orcinus and I played as Selkies. It was also the first game where I saw a semi-effective town block form. orcinus came up with the strategy of fake-claiming PGO to hopefully prevent our being the night 1 kill. It worked. But, it was not the last town lie of the game. ArcAngel9 also lied about her doctor role, saying she was a one-shot bodyguard. She didn't believe our claim, so protected us on night 2. Scum didn't believe our claim either. We went through 2 days without lynching scum, and then town got its act together. Arcangel9 protected us again on night 2 and from there it was an autowin situation. Majiffy was lynched on day 3 and Jennifer on day 4. It was a tense and at times contentious game for town, but in the end things came together.

I lost this game when I selected two night actions from a list. I should have chosen a night kill instead of 2 investigative roles. I plugged along and helped town to a win with my day 1 play. On night 1, I watched/tracked the last scum player and saw him visit me. And then I died. :D It was another great group of players. The micro queue attracts really good mafiascum players. The scum team was Majiffy and Mac.

This started as a difficult game due to not knowing any of the players besides bacde. I decided not to claim miler on the offhand chance that I'd get a useful one-shot via fishing. Vegito (Majiffy/Nacho hydra) replaced in and the game turned funny, though they were in the lynch lead for much of the game. Another replacement, mrbungle had a key role. At the end of the day, we ran up several players to L-1, forced nearly every PR to claim, and finally lynched scum. That night, Vegito tracked the final scum to his kill. We argued a bit, decided to wait for the scum player to post, then mrbungle took matters into his own hands and executed Beliasaurus. Perfect town win. The scum team was Ghostlin and Beliasaurus

The set up was 5 vanilla town, 2 millers, cop and role cop for town, and godfather and goon for scum. Though the set-up was a little townsided, town dominated this game due to the players being so familiar with each other. By page 2 a town core of 3 had formed, and by page 8 the core had 5 members, most of whom were agreed (and correct) about the identity of the scum team. It was a bit of a struggle to get from there to a lynch. Perfect town win. We lynched the godfather on day 1, and viewed the final scum on night 1 but didn't live to tell the tale. The scum team was mastin2 and nachomamma8

If we completed all our personal achievements (which involved ridiculously scummy behaviors including claiming scum and derphammering), and survived to day 3 we would earn a day kill. Achievement unlocked. Game won. It was fun, and not quite as daunting as the Xenologue game, though being scum in a game with town-Bulbazak was pretty scary. At long last, vengeance for the Donner Party game.

Cabd and I replaced in as Morph the Cat. Bert was the other scum player, and he did a fantastic job. He was considered the least likely of the "non-confirmed" players to be scum. Prior to replacing in, Cabd was playing solo. After 2 Morph scum games where I was very much in the background, I made it a point in this game to be a stronger presence. The slot was under suspicion on day 1 and the game day ended before I had a chance to do a catch up post. So, on Day 2 I started with a lot of poking, prodding and questioning of players and held off posting my reads list for a day or 2. This was an effort to conform to my evolving town-replacement play, and it's something that maybe only I notice or care about! Despite my deep and abiding dislike and fear of scum roles, I agreed to replace in for three reasons: I don't want to give the impression that I only replace in to slots that I am townreading because 1) I don't and 2) it could easily become an implicit truth tell if people assume I do. I'd rather my play be evaluated more rationally. The third reason, which I didn't get to test, was to see if I could plant any doubt about our alignment in the Nacho head of Mononoke. Nacho wasn't fooled. But I still think I did a fair job of making a scummy looking (and actually scum) slot look a little more town. On night 2, we decided to fake claim Hider with an innocent result on Brian Skies. There was sufficient "evidence" for that claim in the game thread, and I made the claim in the first post of Day 3. I was impressed with Brian Skies' play. He knew something was up, and even though the case for scum-me that he was working on was flawed, the fact that he was working on a case at all was impressive.

A very bad town game on my part. By the final day that town could win (which we didn't know due to night kills not being flipped), I felt I had no credibility to set a lynch direction, so all I could really do was dig my heels in over what I (correctly) thought was a mislynch. The next day, it 1-1-1. I picked the mafia player to hammer and the SK won. The scum team was Malakittens and Goodmorning. The SK was bulbazac

This was a fun game. Our reads were not so great, but I think we would have made some course corrections about Majiffy/Mara hydra after Trolling Fairy (lol Cabd/Nacho) flipped scum. As conftown after not quickhammering in LYLO, Cephrir had the task of figuring whether scum was VioleNt Saxophone (Majiffy/Mara) or Cait Sith (Tammy/Mala).

Scum-Cheery Dog outed as scum Jailkeeper (was goon) and led a lynch on me. One town player voted with the 3 scum and it was game over. This one goes into my wtf scrapbook. Probably the worst thing I did this game was scum-read serrapaladin (the town JOAT) because he wasn't pushing lynches, although he was trying to derail a couple of bad bandwagons. I nightkilled him on night 2 instead of my next scummiest read (who was scum).

The game was a lot of fun, which sort of breaks my Mini Normal paradigm. Getting a neighborizer role contributed massively to my sense of fun. So did neighborizing Rebel Without a Pulse (Nacho/Stubbs), who turned out to be the doctor. This turned out to be synergistic because Nacho and I could talk through the game. We wound up correctly identifying the cop (Rail Tracer - zmuffinman hydra) and Nacho protected him the night that he was targeted by the scum kill. I had to replace out at the end of night 3 because of a mod communication that accidentally spoilered the last scum's identity. Guy in Freezer carried on from there, and reaction tested the final scum. NotScience's reaction to that test turned the vote into a serious vote. The rest is history.

This game had some amazing mechanics, including a role that could neighborize a living player after death, and a mechanism to bring all the dead players back to life for a day and return the game temporarily to day 1. MC Maraca (Cabd/Ms Marangal hydra) carried off three separate gambits to help town come back from a ton of mislynches and win the game. One of the gambits was a fake innocent investigation results on yours truly. The game also featured lots of puppies, Clint Eastwood gifs and the amazing portmanteau "RiftSixtian". Would play again.

This was a perfect town win. Nacho and I correctly identified 4 out of 5 scum on day 1, barely escaped being lynched by the skin of our teeth, and led a successful bandwagon on our top scum pick. Two more scum lynches later and the game was won. Nacho had hoped for a scum role in this one, and given the starting proportions of 7-5 the odds were pretty good. But, the random numbers did what they tend to do in my presence.

It was a quick but not so graceful win. Mafia wins seem to come in two flavors, where town eats itself alive, and where scum play a flawless game. This game was more of the former than the latter, but even so I thought town might pull it out. The highlight (or perhaps lowlight) of the game was killing Oil Tycoons on night 1 and then finding them still alive on day 2. Due to role mechanics they survived until nightfall of day 2. And then they NEIGHBORIZED US FROM THE GRAVE and gave us a double vote for the day. That arguably settled the day 2 lynch. All in all, a nerve wracking game that hardly felt like a perfect scum win. There was some great scum strategy involved thanks to Cabd and Andrius. My main contribution was somehow appearing townlike enough to Oil Tycoons until they were finally for really reals dead and banished to the dead QT.

This was a really hard-fought game that I didn't expect scum to win. My making it to day 5 before being lynched was amazing given that I had to make all kills and town had so many ways to find me. But, I did last until PoE virtually assured I had to be scum, and Nacho was able to get the last needed mislynch on the following day in 3-person lylo. This may be the game that I look back on and say "There - right there. That is where I conceded the meta war."

Replaced in as hydra after half of Beauty and the Beast was force-replaced. The scum teams were uneven, 3-4. I figured the game out very late - day 7 and helped get the last red scum lynched. I spent most of day 8 MYLO arguing with PeregrineV that there was only one scum left and it wasn't Nacho. He didn't believe me. We nolynched over my haiku-laced objections. I died night 8. And Peregrine hammered Nacho for the loss. This was my first and so far only replace-in to a 120-some page day 1. I think the lack of catch maybe hurt me a little, but I'm pretty happy that lightning struck on day 7 and I had the game solved even if I couldn't convince Pere.

I had some good town reads in this game but a couple of critical bad reads, both of whom were alive at endgame. I was neighborized by oriole on night 1. He happened to be my strongest town read from day 1 and Syr and I were referring to oriole as our in-thread mason even before the neighborization. We used the one-shot vig on a town player who we most likely would otherwise have tunneled for the rest of the game. Many town mistakes, including ours helped pave the way for a scum victory.

Our role in this game was apparently to defend town PRs (Sugar Cain, OhGodMyLife, Borkjerfkin) from other town and from scum (Thor). Thor did a great job of burrowing his way into the townbloc and sowing dissent. Poor play on the part of the recruited Traitor (TheIrishPope) was a big factor in the scum loss.

This game was nearly as fun to watch as to play. Except for the part where all the unconfirmed town agreed to be lynched before the final scum. This plan would have worked except for one minor glitch where a confirmed townie hammered the super saint. The game went to 3 player lylo with Varsoon and Cabd crossvoting and Antihero (who should have been confirmed town BEFORE he didn't hammer). After a few tense days of argument and setup spec and balance debates, Antihero hammered scum.

It was a crazy bastard set up, but as long as I survived a reasonable number of game days the cult had a good chance of pulling it off. Thor's strategy after we recruited him set us up for the win. With one kill, we eliminated 3 players. That's right, kill. All the factions were receiving night actions from the enabler faction. As well as recruiting, we had 1 night kill, 2 poisonings, a rolecop and a lynchproof. we used 1 kill, 1 poisoning and the rolecop. The other poisoning was used, but the game ended before that player died.
