ok, this is where i'm going to start a discussion on renaming the forum named 'The Road to Rome'... basically i think we should drop 'The' to make it parallel w/ the other Mafia Game Forum Names... for example, let's look at my first sentence... if i was talking about New York, i would say, "Let's start a discussion on the 'New York' forum...", but if i'm talking about TRTR, the i would say, "Let's start a discussion on the 'The Road to Rome' forum..." it just doesn't sound right... i think i understand why 'The' was added to begin with, as in THIS is how you get to the regular games, by starting here... this is THE road to 'Rome' (Rome being the normal games), but i think 'The' is implied, much like 'You' is implied if i say, "Stop it!"... renaming TRTR will also help in building categories for games on the wiki... what are everybody else's thoughts?.. "New York" and "Coney Island" are all places, but there is no "Road to Rome". I assume that the "The" has been placed there because, if there actually was a road to Rome, it would be called "The Road to Rome", rather than "Road to Rome". IMO, I think that "The Road to Rome" is fine as a title as it is. Somestrangeflea 10:25, 17 August 2007 (MDT)
I agree with SSF. "Road to Rome" sounds awkward to me. --YYCguy 11:19, 17 August 2007 (MDT)
in the context of places, though, "Theme Park" doesn't fit in either... you can go to "New York" or "Coney Island", but you don't go to "Theme Park", you would go to "The Theme Park"... but the correct context to think about this IMO is in the context of a title, not a place... i know "Road to Rome" may sound awkward, b/c you're used to saying it in your head when you read it, but "The Road to Rome" sounds just as awkward to me b/c it isn't parallel...
