Game Name | Moderator | W/L | Entry | Role | Fate | Outcome | Personal level of Play |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Newbie 1030 | Nocmen | Lose | Replaced in Day 1 | Doctor | Lynched Day 4 (lylo) | Mafia Win on Day 4 | Eh. Okay for a first game, I guess. |
I didn't manage to protect successfully once. Pretty sure I made quite a few terrible arguments. I also protected the IC (Nacho) every night other than the one night he was killed. So, yeah, I was a terrible doctor. Having said that: "Hopp, you played the most blatantly protown game I've seen in a while" - Nacho in his post-game review. Must have done something right, still not sure what! Setup: 2 Goons, 1 Doctor, 6 Townies. | |||||||
Open 281: C9++ | andrew94 | Win | Replaced in Day 1 | Vanilla Townie | Killed Night 2 | Town Win on Day 3 | Not good. I semi-lurked, but managed some decent(?) setup analysis pre-death. |
My play was really quite bad, I guess. I didn't really pro-actively scumhunt... however, the D1 lynch claimed Mafia Roleblocker (truthfully!), which helped the town narrow down the various rolls a heck of a lot! I The dice rolls were MVVTTDD, generating: Mafia Goon, Mafia Godfather, Mafia Roleblocker, Serial Killer, Innocent Child, Vigilante, 1-shot Vigilante, Doctor, Backup Doctor, 3 Vanilla Townies. | |||||||
Psychic Mafia (Part of Team Mafia) | Dramonic | Win | Original Player | Benefici (Vanilla Townie) | Survived and won | Town Win on Day 2 | Reasonable taking into account the ridiculous time-frames. |
This was actually ridiculous. The whole game was over in under 1 REAL LIFE week. That's even including night. 2 scum lynched, 1 scum vig'd. xReckonerx actually roflpwned this game (see here|here). As for me, at least I only voted scum? | |||||||
Source Code Mafia | Empking | Lose | Replaced in Day 1 | Bystander (Vanilla Townie) | Endgamed | Mafia Win on Day 3 | My gut was largely semi-accurate but my logical reads failed completely. Need to trust my gut more. |
Gut had split and inHim as scum based on first posts, but then my 'logic' made me drop those leads. Slightly bastardly setup in that we had to lynch one paticular scum (endgame thoughts from me summed up here), but really, scum have to be given credit for playing decently. Town was kinda fail tbqh. | |||||||
Open 310: Medical Mafia | AntB | Win | Original Player | Doctor (Paranoid) | Survived and won | Town Win on Day 2 | Decent. I'm happy with my play here. |
My opening plan backfired spectacularly, however it did have the benefit of allowing me to nail 2 scum in a list of 3. My reads were for the rest of the game all over the place (in terms of consistency) but I did provide a very thoroughly convincing case for the second scum based on gut and zero analysis (highlights here|here|here). So, yeah, trusting my gut did indeed work! You can learn from past mistakes! This game is definitely my best town game so far in terms of my scum-identifying prowess. | |||||||
