Template:CL

Name: CL Type: Formatting Sub-Template: No Designer: callforjudgement

The {{CL}} template produces a coloured link. The first argument should be the text to link; the second argument should be the colour.

If the first argument is missing or empty, no output will be produced. That makes {{CL}} a suitable argument to {{ForEach}}.

This template will attempt to link even to pages that don't exist, and will link them in the requested colour (thus hiding the fact that the page is a "redlink"). Hovering over a link will still underline it in the appropriate colour (blue for a page that exists, red for a page that doesn't), so the existence of pages can still be checked for.
