Survivor: Nexus

Survivor: Nexus was an 24 player anonymous Survivor game run by ReckonerxReckoner, xofelf and BROsideon. It ran from December 7th, 2016 to January 21st, 2017.

This game had a unique start in which the players started in two 12 person tribes, Red vs Blue for 24 hours before being separated into two seperate forums, Survivor: Sanctuary and Survivor: Koprulu. The tribe sizes were 6-6 on Sanctuary and 4-4-4 on Koprulu. At Sanctuary's first TC a member of the winning tribe was voted into "exile", actually sending them to Koprulu to their death. After two rounds the players were returned to the Nexus forum. A total of 3 tribe swaps, a shipwreck and a 16 player TC mixed players into many complicated social relationships.

The 16 player TC was a major twist as all 16 players competed for 3 immunity necklaces and the two players with the highest number of votes were eliminated in the same TC, meaning a minority of votes was enough to eliminate a player. In practice with the application of an idol canceling 8 votes, two people were eliminated by a 3-3-2 vote.

There were a high amount of reward items in Nexus including five idols. One was a jigsaw puzzle on Reckoner's Mafiascum profile to which Koprulu received multiple clues towards. One was given to the Sanctuary player during Challenge 2 that held back the most soldiers. One was given to the Exiled player after the forums remerged. One was hidden in the Secret Cow Level in the Glitch forum. The last was auctioned at merge as covered ITEM E along with a double vote, vote nullifier and an immunity necklace to be given to another player at Final 9.

At the conclusion of FTC, Karass (Bellaphant) defeated Tracer (Deathnote) and Azmodan (Drench) in a 3-2-2 vote. The finalist's tiebreaker votes were also split 1-1-1, making this FTC the most evenly divided up to now. The MS thread can be found here
