This method of designing a setup was developed by ETL as a means to design setups quickly and easily for Skype mafia that could be expected to be mostly balanced. It was named "Super Vanilla" to distinguish the game from setups containing unexpectedly swingy, bastard or unpredictable roles. Inspired by Sven's whining about Greatest Idea being run in Skype mafia.
Setup
The setup can be expanded from 4 players and up following the chart below (7 to 9 players is ideal/recommended). After determining how many mafia/town you have according to the number of players, use RNG to get the number of PRS for each faction. If you are lazy or want to get the setup quickly, use the recommended values.
