Does He Really Know?

Probably not.

Hi. My name on MafiaScum is Does Bo Know, but I also respond to DBK or Bo. I've been signed up since January of last year, but I took a break for about a year before getting back into the game. My playstyle...isn't very defined. I don't know, I guess there's not really something about how I play that people can say "Oh that's not a scumtell, that's just how he plays" or something. The only thing I do is let my sarcasm get out of control during RVS (almost killed me one game). Hopefully I can stick with the game and get better.

A little about me: I'm a college student going for a computer engineering major. Right, not exactly the type of MafiaScum player you expected, but eh. I love certain TV shows. Making a Scrubs, Arrested Development, Breaking Bad, or Warehouse 13 reference in the beginning of a game with me will probably result in me not voting you in RVS. Just a heads up. (But seriously, not really.)

What determines the games I like to play in?

- I don't like to play more than one game actively. I lose focus on which players are in which games, and sometimes get names mixed up and evidence mixed up. Something I would hate myself for doing, even if it's just a mistake.

- I don't like to play with a lot of people. Kinda the same reason. I tend to stay away from anything larger than a Mini. Since Micros launched, I'm probably just going to be hibernating there for a while.

- I don't like to replace into games. I don't like reading that much. Yeah, I read plenty of books, but some games are just games I don't want to spend time reading if I can't respond/if they bore me to death.

I don't even want to talk about why you shouldn't have clicked it already. Just start from the beginning, read it like "Yeah, that's a fairly standard Jester game," and then watch it transform into the greatest game ever to exist. And I wasn't even online during the best part. :(

Micro 60	1-shot Friendly Neighbor	October 17 - November 10	Survived, Won	This setup was like C9++ for a Micro, known tentatively as C9--. I was a huge target D1, but I was able to claim and confirm myself as town later. We lynched scum D1, but D2 had a fakeclaim that was supposed to work, but one player pointed out a fault; that player, saying I wasn't confirmed townie, was lynched pretty quickly. Finally, I felt pretty confident who the other scum was, and never really changed my mind about it since the final day started. I guess I've just got a good gut.
Micro 51 (Vengeful)	Vengeful Townie	October 9 - October 16	Lynched, Lost	I couldn't be as active as I wanted to this game. Interestingly, the goon attempted the white flag gambit; this way, he basically tried to out me as Godfather as his goon self was lynched, making me an instant lynch D2. But it didn't really work like it was supposed to. Fortunately for scum, the Godfather was able to keep control pretty much the entire game. And I knew who it was after I died. Grrr...
Newbie 1277	Mafia Goon	August 28 - October 8	Survived, Perfect Win	This was my first game back since the crash, so I thought I'd start with something simple. Both my scum partner and I spent most of the game being not-scum, trying to add heat to problems that didn't relate to us. We did a fairly nice job until the end when we had to be under suspicion; if you look later in the topic, I tried to quickvote so that my partner could hammer, but it was too late. Fortunately, one player tested my partner's alignment by putting a vote back on the target, and he was proven wrong. So this was a relieving win that almost didn't work.
