Girgi EC8 is an 8-player Open Setup chracterised by the possibility of multiple Weak Cops.
Setup
8 players:
- 2 Mafia Goons
- 3-5 Townies
- 1-3 Weak Cops
Mechanics
- Day start
- To randomise the setup, the mod flips three coins, and gives the town a Weak Cop for each successful result.
- Weak Cops die if they target a Mafia Goon.
Role PM's
Mafia Goon
- Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partner, [Player Name].
Abilities:
- Factional communication: During the night phase you may talk with your partner here [QuickTopic link].
- Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.
Win condition:
- You win when all members of the town have been eliminated or nothing can prevent this from occurring.
Vanilla Townie
- Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Vanilla Townie.
Abilities:
- Your weapon is your vote, you have no night actions.
Win condition:
- You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
Town Weak Cop
- Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Weak Cop.
Abilities:
- Each night phase, you may investigate one player in the game by PM'ing the mod. You will get results back in the form of Town/Mafia.
- You know you are guaranteed to be sane.
- In the event you target a Mafia player, you will instantly die.
Win condition:
- You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
Discussion
- Here are the odds for each particular setup occurring randomly;
- 0 Weak Cops: 12.5%
- 1 Weak Cop: 37.5%
- 2 Weak Cops: 37.5%
- 3 Weak Cops: 12.5%
