Lynch + 24 hours is a variation on the voting mechanic wherein players may change their votes (and thus who gets lynched) up to 24 hours after the hammer vote is placed.
Normally, whoever gets hammered is summarily lynched. However, with this mechanic the Day will end after someone is hammered and 24 hours have passed. During that 24 hours, players may continue to discuss and change their votes. At the end of the 24 hours, the person who is actually lynched is the player with the plurality of votes at that time. In the event of a tie, the player who was hammered is lynched even if they were not involved with the tie.
