Commonly abbreviated as PM, these are non-game thread communications used by certain roles or in certain phases of the game.
These are used to send role-related Night Choices in to the moderator, and (if the moderator does not set up a specialized chat thread) players who are specifically told they can speak to each other can use these for that purpose as well.
Players are in general not allowed to PM each other unless otherwise told they can.
