I'm Brian, a Computer Science major at Virginia Tech. I have one last semester to go, but currently am taking a break for a combination of financial reasons and dreaded "other" reasons. I hope to go back in the spring of this upcoming year to finish up and get my degree.

Currently, I'm working as a systems analysis/software developer/intern, mostly working in ASP.NET. Despite my dislike for computer science, at least in terms of the classes I've had, I enjoy the work I do for this job, and plan to get a job doing work along these same lines post-grad.

I started playing mafia at MTGSalvation almost 2 years ago. I decided to migrate over to MS last may when I played in Spies5: The Shootout and some of the players I respected in that game played at MS. I still play some at MTGS, but I mostly play here now. My game preference is for simplistic games where behavioral analysis wins out over role analysis. I play almost exclusively mini normals and open games for this reason. I've improved drastically since when I started, and I attribute this improvement to a combination of experience, reading mafia theory, and analyzing how better players go about finding scum. I feel like I am an above average player, but I'm still looking to improve in a lot of facets of my play.

Currently, I stick to playing between 2-4 games at a time.
