Faraday

Ohi. How's it going? I'm Faraday and I'm a 20 year old student from Ireland. Not named after that Chemistry guy but Daniel Faraday from the TV Show lost. Why? Because Lost is the best TV show ever and Faraday is simply superb. I've played mafia for a while now, and eventually decided to play on 'scum after lurking for ages and reading loads of games. I think that did me the world of good, really. I've modded my first game and am in the mini theme queue ready to mod 'A Game of Thrones' Mafia, based on the amazing book series by George RR MARTIN. As for me as a player? I'm not one for quote walls, like to play by gut when needed, reasonably agressive and I prefer fast paced games.

Yeah, this town kicked ass. This game had a unique idea where everyone draft's there roles based on a numbered pick before hand. It's cool and add's shit loads of WIFOM to the game. I picked quite early and wanted Doc as I wanted a role and figured no one above me would pick it. I did manage to stop Cobalt vigging scum with it but eh, what ya gonna do really? Town played really well and lynched correctly 5 times in a row to win the game and destroy the scum completely! The game got nominated for a few scummies in the 2010 awards

Enjoyed this game immensely. I was part of the Shadow Cult with Chaco. This game featured the Incantaion Mechanic which I nominated as best mechanic in the 2010 Scummies, hopefully it'll get a sthird as it was really fun to play in and not just a pointless gimmick. Anyway this game was really fun. Mipe was obvious scum and came up with a horrendous claim Day 1 and Day 2 played right into our hands with an epic double lynch on the remaining Drakness and another townie die after the Cop equivalent claimed. Basically from then myself and Chaco did enough to push the lynch on the scummy players and even left the Cop alive into Lylo after much debate. Risky, but it worked. Thought I played quite well this game, I was never under really suspicion and Chaco played decently too to give us a comfortable enough victory.

Was a great concept. Like really great. Unfortunately BOTH mod's flaked which was pretty bad. I bussed my GF'er Day 1 and shot him straight in the face, which was kinda cool. Sorry Rayfrost! He was pretty much confirmed scum anyway, so it was worth it just to make myself look a little better. Annoyed the game was called off really, still nothing can be done. Hopefully another version will be run in the future.

Never got into/enjoyed this game. Lurked for a fair bit and to be honest I pulled scum suspects out of my assed when called on it. Just never really enjoyed it. I was lynched Day 2, deservedly so probably. The town won comfortably though, mostly witht the help of Datadanne's amazing vigging. Col. Cathart the Serial Killer was modkilled in Day 3 for an easy town win. In all honesty the reasoning for the modkill seems fairly retarded/horrible to me, but eh it's StrangerCoug's game I guess. Just seemed very fucking harsh. Oh well, a win is a win, and he'd got no shot of winning the game anyway. Oh looking back I've discovered I lurk a bit as vanilla townie. Note: I must fix this.

This had some clunk moderating. Name claims were banned, which I think means the game is poorly designed and a mod error sort of ruined my victory. Anyway it was a vanilla free game yet I was a neutral survivor with no powers. Surely that's worse than vanilla. Worse again the SK was actively hunting me as he'd gain a bonus if I died. Luckily I was very pro town day 1 and led a lynch on Ani. Unfortunately he was modkilled and his real role wasn't given (I mean, really? What a horrible way to punish the town, when it turned out he was actively scummy) Anyway I survived and Boxman, the SK, died which fullfilled my win con. Turns out he shouldn't have died though so ehh. He probably still would have been lynched but it spoiled the victory somewhat. Oh well, teaches me to shop for mods in the future.

Kublai Khan pulled off one of the BEST GAMBIT'S EVER in this game. He claimed miller early day 1 and not only did he live to endgame it turned out he'd been investigated by the Cop Night 0. I mean, that's not good, that's amazing. We lost Zazie night 1 to a crosskill but myself, KK and SerialClergyman proceeded to power through the game. Hell Kublai was considered so town, the opposing scum used him as an innocent for his fake hider claim. The game was well modded and enjoyable. The town played badly enough, and none of our scum team were ever really close to being lynched, even in Lylo it was easy to get the mislynch needed to secure the win. Very enjoyable game all in all.

Ugh. I was a beloved princess with my Guard Zwet claiming Day 1. This resulted in the scum piling on for a policy lynch and then me proceeding to flame people (they deserved it) for wanting to lynch a confirmable town role. This resulted in much crying with many people threatening to replace out which eventually led to zwet being forced replaced (Which IMO was horrible) but at least the replacement was Elvis_Knits who's awesome. Anyway Starbuck/Crywolf were lynched for being scummy but we were too far back to get a win and Slicey pulled a nice gambit with a fake vig claim. There were a fair few replacements and I didn't really enjoy the game a lot. I played pretty badly but at least had called 1 of the scum. Well it's only Twilight, right?

This was a really, really fucking complicated game, based on The Wheel Of Time Universe! I loved the hell out of it while I was alive though. I was an Aes Sedai, which meant I couldn't lie. This basically meant I couldn't say 'X is definitely scum' as I'd be breaking the first Oath. Anyway there was lots of actions and stuff, and the town were doing pretty well lynching the a Scum/SK/Neutral Survivor/ in the first 3 days, I was on all 3 wagons (YAY). I was killed Night 3 by the mafia. Take that as a compliment I guess. Anyway the mafia from then on played really well and eventually pulled out a win with a quicklynch when it seemed like one of their own should have been lynched. Oh also shout out to Setael for being my Super Pro Town Aes Sedai Partner who was great fun to talk to. Come back to the site! But yeah, good play from the scum in the end. Goatrevolt in particular looked really obv town. Oh well

This was my first game on site and I was scum with Claus. We pretty much controlled the game and looked the most townie throughout. The only mistake we made was kill someone who'd hinted at being vanilla, we'd both missed it! However when the town picked that up it left them very confused, which helped. We had easy lynches from scummy newbs everyday, so we really didn't have to play that well to win. Still it was enjoyable being scum with Claus.
