We're not sure why. Just be grateful you are. <3 |
Not currently playing in any games. I am available to replace into one game as requested.
Korejora is a Glorkling who holds a place in the Great Glork Circle, which reputedly makes her immune to Glorking. She is currently working undercover as a Glorkette in an effort to usurp Aimee, the Head Glorkette, and get a firmer grip on the Glorkerie. What this implies for the Glorkdom is unclear as her motives cannot be traced any further than the Glorkamari Moon.
She never votes on the first day because of a contract with the Post Eating Monster. She is always a replacement, though, so you should rarely have to worry about this.

Legitimate bookkeeping is important.
Will replace for gummies
If I'm not in a game already, chances are very good I can replace into yours. In particular, size and setup are not issues - I can join games with 100+ pages as long as your players are willing to wait a few days for me to read or at least skim. If you would like me to replace into one of your games, you have but to ask!
Moderating rules, unabridged edition
(as of 28/06/09)
These are not intended to be read all at once; they are here to elaborate on specific rules as needed. I write rules to be more concise than comprehensive, so in some cases my intent is not perfectly clear. If you aren't sure of the spirit of a rule, or whether the rules allow for one thing or another, this should hopefully be what you need. If not, I encourage you to contact me directly.
(I) My job is not to make lawyer-grade loophole-proof rules. Use common sense.
As a moderator, personally, I do not support playing by technicalities. I understand and appreciate the clever use of the rules to your advantage. However, I learned to play mafia face-to-face, and I consider the medium a necessary evil that should affect the game as little as possible. Expect me to rule against you if you try to win on a formality.
(II) Rules may be changed if I find them insufficient, and are negotiable if you don't like them.
I can't account for every situation possible, obviously. I try not to change the rules right in the middle of a game, but it may become necessary if something real dicey and unfair pops up. If you play in my game, I assume you are trusting not only my judgement but my integrity, and therefore there is no need to set the rules in stone beforehand.
(III) Stuff in the rules and guidelines naturally applies.
I point this out in my rules because I don't care to restate all of the mafia rules. Although I do anyway. Either way, they still apply.
(IV) Knowing the rules makes the game run more smoothly for everyone. Please read them before you play.
A game I recently modded used up all my patience for people who don't follow what I consider to be very, very obvious rules. What I actually mean by this is "Read the damn rules; there, now I've said it and I won't feel bad if I have to modkill you for breaking them." In fact,
(a) Votes must be emphasized by bolding, underlining, altered size, setting it on its own line. Don't use pet names.
There are two things I care about with regards to voting: 1) whether you are voting or not, and 2) who you are voting. As long as I know that you are actually placing a vote, and not just referring to the act of voting, I could not care less about the formatting. Likewise, as long as I know who you are voting for, I don't care how you say their name. The reason I warn against using pet names is because I don't frequent the forum and am unlikely to be familiar with nicknames people have. As long as the name is derived from the actual username, I'll probably figure it out.
(b) Unvoting is not necessary to place a new vote. You may not vote for yourself. No homemade votecounts, please.
Unvoting doesn't really help me, so I don't care whether you do it. Self-voting is simply not allowed in my games. For vote tallying, you can go ahead and post your own list of who you figure is voting as you like; that's not the issue. What you should absolutely not do is try to make an official votecount - this is impersonation of the moderator and you will be modkilled for it.
(c) Deadlines start a brief voting-only period to determine the lynch. If the deadline fails to produce a lynch, there won't be one. Deliberate nonlynch takes half the players, rounded up.
This is mostly to state that deadlines (and no-lynches) exist. I don't mention specific times they come up because there aren't any; I will lay down a deadline when I feel like it. Once again, I assume that you as a player trust me to be fair as a moderator. Deadlines do not change the number of votes required for a lynch.
To clarify on how the deadline works: When the deadline hits, I will state how long it will be until twilight hits. Between the deadline and twilight, all players have the post restriction of silent mafia; they may not post anything but votes. Otherwise, the day continues as normal. If twilight hits, it hits as a no-lynch.
(d) Twilight is open for talking. You may drop an extraneous ghost post in the thread on your way out if you die.
No particular comment on this rule; it simply states my stance on twilight and the 'bah post'.
(e) Nights last about half a week. A missed deadline means a random choice.
I try to make mornings land on a reasonable hour range for myself so that I can actually open the thread when I say I will. I usually state about a ten hour range between 70 and 90 hours from the end of the previous day. As written, if you do not give me a night choice by the time morning comes, I will simply randomize your choice.
(f) Teams must appoint a player for shared actions (e.g. who is making the kill for the mafia) unless it is an open setup and obviously not necessary.
This is to prevent me from essentially telling the mafia that there is an town roleblocker. Or tracker. If it is possible for there to be an opposing power role affected by who takes what action, then I will require teams to act as if there is one.
(g) You may not do anything to yourself - vote, kill, investigate, track, watch, whatever - except redirect someone else's action onto yourself.
This is, quite simply, not allowed in my games. There is no story behind it, nor I am not really out to prevent some specific thing with it; it's just how I've always played and run games and how I will continue to do so. Players may need to take special note of the fact that voting is in that list, but to help with that it's already stated in (b).
(h) Random chance is not used in my setups (e.g. 50% effective roles).
I don't like the use of chance, and therefore, I will not use it. Sorry if you like those roles.
(i) Please don't use aggravatingly bright colours like yellow, cyan, or white. I don't care if you use colours I tend to use.
Bright colours are hard annoying and hard to read on pretty much every background available on the forum, and I would appreciate if people just didn't use them. While we're on the subject of colours, you might notice that my posts tend to be quite blue. This does not mean that you can't write in blue, as well, but if you try to make it look like I edited something into your post, I will modkill you.
(j) Replacements will happen without notice after a week or so of inactivity. Prods are on player request only.
This isn't to say that I will never, ever prod anyone of my own accord, but I don't really consider it my responsibility to make sure you're keeping track of your games. If you can't be bothered to post for entire week, and I don't know of any trips to Atlantis or whatever, then I'll replace you. Players in the game should feel free to request prods on other players.
(k) The game will not be called until an exclusive outcome is assured. All players, unless otherwise stated, have the following win condition: You win when you have eliminated all opposition (or this is inevitable) with some part of your team still intact.
I use auto-wins purely as a time-saving mechanism. Keep this in mind when hatching your master plan.
(l) This is rule 'L'.
I think this one is pretty obvious on its own.
