Site Meta in 2017
In June of 2017, Site Admin Zoraster posted a detailed thread analyzing the increasing trend of a site meta that involved, in his words "at least a portion of our population posting a lot. Often in a row". This site meta has become an issue for a number of reasons, including much longer games (both in time played, as well as length) and generally a culture of things like thread-spamming and posting in all caps. Essentially, the game has become a lot more about who can be the loudest than anything else. You can find more discussion on this in Zoraster's thread, "Mafia Game Posting Frequency Discussion".
