A prod dodge (abbreviated as prodge) is a no-content post made by a player solely to avoid getting prodded. Usually, such posts take the form "was busy today", "will post later" etc. but can also be very explicitly stated as "prod dodge".
Prod dodges are used as a way for a player to lurk without penalty, or when a player cannot find anything worth of posting but is due a prod soon.
Prod dodges are typically frowned upon because it is considered to be breaking the spirit of activity rules. Some moderators do not take prodges into account when prodding people.
