Game Analysis
Game 06 - Mini 958: Just Another Mafia Problem
Little Italy | Mini 958 | Replaced in Day 1 | Mafia Goon | Victory | Mafia |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
This was my second game as mafia. Day 1 was pretty crazy with two competing townie wagons and ConfidAnon accidentally hammering at the end. ConfidAnon was then lynched in under 24 hours on Day 2 with yet another accidental hammer, this time by SSBF. Day 3 was pretty much an instant replay of Day 2 as SSBF was lynched in record time. That third lynch was game. This was probably the easiest mafia game I've ever played. The town rushed the days, accidentally hammered, and all made themselves look way scummier than any of the actual scum. |
Game 05 - Mafia 112: Ridiculous Drama!
New York | Mafia 112 | Replaced in Day 1 | Vanilla Townsfolk | Lynched Day 4 | Town |

This game was meh. I had three main suspects and two of them flipped scum: Fate, Chronopie, and Leafsnail. Unfortunately, despite having just caught Chronopie I was lynched on Day 4 instead of the obv-scum for wholly stupid reasons. Luckily the vig believed me and shot Leafsnail. Very unsatisfying game especially coming out of Mafia 110 which had a much more fun group of players. |
Game 04 - Mini 939
Little Italy | Mini 939 | Start | Mafia Godfather | Victory | Mafia |

My first game as mafia! Woo! I tried to get nocase lynched on Day 1 and, when that failed, I buddied with him heavily on Day 2. I also spotted what turned out to be a pair of Masons (Riddick and GroupThink) pretty early and pushed hard for their lynches two days in a row. Two people were dead set on lynching one of my scum partners, but I managed to make one spend so much time fighting me that he couldn't scum hunt anyone else and I painted the other to be scummy himself. Mass claim came and I claimed 2-shot Vig. Worked wonderfully because I claimed a mafia kill as my own and one of the pro-town roles actually backed me up on my claim. Ironically, our win came when a townie false claimed Backup Jailer only to be counter-claimed by another townie who actually was a Backup Jailer. Lots of No Lynch days, failed night kills, and more made this a very tense game. I really enjoyed playing with just about everyone in this game. |
Game 03 - Mafia 110: Mafia in Hell, Michigan
New York | Mafia 110 | Replaced in Day 1 | Mason | Shot Night 5 | Mafia / SK |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Netopalis modded this game and he convinced me to replace in. I'm glad I did because this was my first large game and a very fun one. I played very strongly for the first couple days leading us to not one, but two mislynches. Despite that, I managed to get myself lumped into the "obv-town" block that consisted of farside22, Ythan, and myself. I had one Mason partner who never visited the Mason chat so night talk was almost worthless. All in all, the town only managed to lynch one scum so we deserved to lose. In hindsight, I actually figured out who the Serial Killer was from the amount of attention he paid to the death flavor (or rather attempted to avoid) but it was such a small tell that I didn't pay much attention to it at the time. It was still a very fun game and I really enjoyed it. |
Game 02 - Newbie 920: Mafia in Newbietown
Rome | Newbie 920 | Start | Vanilla Townsfolk | Victory | Town |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
After a long hiatus, I returned to mafiascum.net for another newbie game. This one was pretty fun. Lynching scum two straight days was great. Carl Sagan was our first lynch due simply to the fact that he wasn't doing anything remotely pro-town. Regardless of what other wagons came along, I kept my vote on him throughout and saw him lynched. Our second scum was replaced twice however, unfortunately for the replacements, they couldn't shake my suspicion because they had ignored Carl Sagan's slot all Day 1. I really enjoyed playing with several players in this game such as Netopalis and Fiyr. |
Game 01 - Newbie #880
Rome | Newbie 880 | Start | Vanilla Townsfolk | Lynched Day 1 | Mafia |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
This was my first mafia game on mafiascum.net and I admit that I played horribly. It shows in that I was lynched Day 1. I suspected three people (Rayfrost, ABR, and Vi) heavily however the ABR and Vi elements were more than a little OMGUS. If I had focused more on the good reasons I had for Rayfrost then I think the game would have ended very differently. Either way, this game is a testament to how much I've learned since joining mafiascum.net. |
