new pages
when you create a new page, can you please just put something simple in the summary box, if you would... not putting anything in there when you create a page messes up the recent changes list... just something like 'page created' or something similar... thanks

- Sorry! I didn't mean to confuse anything, I'll do it next time! Andycyca 2:12, 8 September 2007 (MDT)
'blockme' template
when you use the {{blockme}} template, can you put it on the User page, rather than the User_talk page?.. the talk page should be reserved for users commenting on why that User should or shouldn't be blocked... thanks for your help w/ the spammers...

recent changes patrolling
PLEASE! Help me improve the /Spam Fighting guide and promote the Recent Changes Patrolling!
can you provide a link explaining exactly what the patrolling is, and how it works... i think i have a basic understanding, but i couldn't find a wiki page on it... thanks

answer to 'Blocking?' on Flay's page...
blocking user 'AnyiDpnga1'
curious as to why you put the {{blockme}} template on this user's page when they don't have ANY contributions, let alone any that could be considered reasons for blocking them... please see the talk page for discussion... thanks for your help

spam blacklist
headers
according to the wiki markup Help article (Link), we shouldn't be using first level headers (ie = title =
) when editing a page... i noticed your using them in a couple of places including QuoteBook, so i fixed them, and figured i would let you know as well...

- Shit! I still have a lot to learn... and read. Thanks again Andycyca||me||What? 22:48, 4 November 2007 (MST)
Game boilerplate
since you're the first (and only) one to 'shamelessly steal' my format for Newbie 490, i would like to get your feedback on it... how would you rate the difficulty in creating a new page using the format?.. what did you find harder to copy/edit? what did you find easier to copy/edit? what suggestions or constructive criticisms do you have for making it easier to edit/copy, and also easier to read?...
i have a couple of ideas to make it a little bit simpler, but that's mainly incorporating the colors for different roles/results into the template... i'm always striving to make things more user-friendly and reader-friendly, but since i only know how i like it to look, it would be nice to get someone else's input... i'm flattered you 'stole' it in the first place ;)

- Yay for feedback. First of all it's nice to have a template that saves some pain for creating tables. Here I come:
Good Stuff
- The gamebox speaks by itself, except maybe for "sort", "modtext" and "outcome2", I had to visit the template page to see what they were about
- tplayer is great. I mean, there's no rocket science behind it. Name, Role, Status is simple and very descriptive.
- The rest of the tables are easy to use, with auto links and table headers
Not-so-good stuff
- The colors (tprole and tnchoice). I mean, I'm sure many colors are useful for games with many roles/factions, but I think the basic roles should have auto color (like blue for Townies, Green for cops, etc) and actions (Red for NK, SK, green for Vig, etc) adding colors was the only "difficult" editing, because I had to figure out which variable was associated with X
- I found that tscene needs "rowspan+1", is it an code error or software error?
Suggestions
I just had to copypaste your game wikicode to understand everything. The only thing I would improve are auto colors for common roles/actions. Other than that, it seems very complete and simple to use. Maybe we should create an example page with this format for creating game articles? You know, just copypaste then fill the info from the game. The only templates that aren't quite obvious are plink (as many people don't seem to know how to link to a specific post in the forum) and "thread" in gamebox.
For a first try, is awesome! Keep up the good work! Andycyca||me||What? 18:03, 5 November 2007 (MST)
