Diffusion of Power is a 13p setup where each town player is a night specific Cop or Doctor.

Setup

  • 3 Mafia Goons
  • 4-6 Night Specific Cops
  • 4-6 Night Specific Docs

Mechanics

  • Daystart
  • The Mod randomises how many Cops and Docs there are: 1/3rd chance of a 4/6, 5/5 or 6/4 split each.
  • The Mod then randomises a number from 1-5 for each town player. This is the one night that the players' role works on.
  • It's possible for there to be multiple players with the same power and night.
  • Mafia are told pregame exactly how many Cops and Docs exist in the setup, but not who and what nights they are.
  • Cops and Doctors flip only as "Town Cop" or "Town Doctor".

Mafia Goon

  • Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partners, [Player Name] and [Player Name].

Abilities:

  • Factional communication: During the night phase you may talk with your partner here [QuickTopic link].
  • Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.
  • Setup Information: You know that there are exactly X number of Docs in the game and Y number of Cops.

Win condition:

  • You win when all members of the town have been eliminated or nothing can prevent this from occurring.


Town Night-X Doctor

  • Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Night-X Doctor.

Abilities:

  • On Night X, you may protect one player in the game from being nightkilled.

Win condition:

  • You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.


Town Night-Y Cop

  • Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Night-Y Cop.

Abilities:

  • On Night Y, you may investigate one player in the game.

Win condition:

  • You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
