Chosen Mafia is an open setup with 9 players. It often gets run during Marathon Days and in scumchat, though not always with 9 players.
Setup
- 2 Mafia Goons
- 5 Vanilla Townies
- 2 Chosen Townies (are given Vanilla Townie role PM's)
Mechanics
- Daystart
- Pre-game, the mafia select one player in the game to veto. This player cannot be "chosen". 2 of the remaining 6 townies are randomly selected by the moderator to be the Chosen Townies.
- The Mafia are told who was Chosen, but the Chosen are not.
- As long as both Chosen Townies are alive, neither can be Night-killed and cannot be endgamed (ie; 1 or 2 Mafia vs. 2 Chosen is a town win).
- Chosen Townies flip "Chosen Townie".
- The town cannot no-eliminate, as such, plurality deadline rules apply to eliminations.
