Obviously, there would have to be a measurement in place to prevent a "Deprogrammed" Cultist to reveal everyone who is in the Cult.

The role is most likely uncommon because it is a non-Normal role. The fact that a majority of the MafiaScum board dislikes Cults helps, too.
This role is essentially always Town-aligned.

A Deprogrammer is a role that can revert Cultists to their original alignment (usually Town).

This role is essentially always Town-aligned.

Use and Power

Deprogrammer comes with a major flaw - a former Cultist can simply spill the names of all of their former Cultists, breaking the game.

For that reason, Deprogrammer can only exist in games where there is some means of maintaining a Cult without the Cultists knowing each other.

Do not attempt to use post restrictions to accomplish this.
