Jitsu is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and now lives in Cary, NC, a suburb of Raleigh.

"The Jitsu Effect"

In Minvitational 8, Erg0 coined the term "The Jitsu Effect" on Day 3 in post 932. The effect, according to Erg0, is that the more I post, the more townie I appear. This comment has its roots in our previous game together, Mini 554: Mafia in Vollville, where we were both town, and I convinced him of my innocence over time. In Minvitational 8 however (where the phrase was coined), a similar thing happened, though this time he was a town-aligned Mason, and I was a Mafia Goon. The funny thing was that Erg0 had previously put me in his top two scumlist and voted to lynch me not long before that.

Mini 518: Underground Mafia	Vanilla Townie	Killed Twilight 5, Won	I had somehow caught on to Anata112/Setael early on Day 1, mostly due to Anata112 avoiding a case I presented against her. Near the endgame, the cop, curiouskarmadog basically won the game for us by investigating Jerubbaal, and later counterclaiming Setael's fake cop claim. I helped to take some of the guesswork out of the endgame by orchestrating an endgame strategy. I was the target for all three night choices on Night 2: I was investigated by the Cop (curiouskarmadog), targeted by the Mafia (Jerubbaal/Seteal), and saved by the Doctor (GunslingerKB). This game got me a 2008 Scummie nomination for Best New Player, which I consider a great honor.
Mini 554: Mafia in Vollville	Vanilla Townie	Survived, Won	I had a tougher time with this game, with a lot of votes being traded early on. I got caught in an honest contradiction Day 1, but the town ended up believing me, so I got to play on. Correctly predicted two of the scum near the end of Day 1. Got lost a bit Day 2 trying to figure out Adel and guessing there was an SK when there wasn't one. After Patrick claimed Vig, the setup fell in place for me. An Adel gambit of epic proportions on Day 1 paid dividends down the road, but the town won this game largely through hard work from several vanillas. Patrick, Erg0, and Incognito played exceptionally well. Another memorable game, I'm pleased with my sophomore effort.
Minvitational 8	Mafia Goon	Lynched Day 4, Lost	I know Adel lobbied hard to get me invited to this game. I deeply thank her and everyone else who read my earlier games and supported my nomination. I think our scumteam did a pretty good job, but I think we got unlucky when the first four players to die were all vanilla, which left precious little room when a massclaim came up. The funny thing is that Oman, the NK immune SK Roleblocker (and major X-factor in the game), basically won the game for the town when he killed a vanilla N1, then roleblocked Kison and killed Shaft.ed N2. I might have had a chance to salvage the game for the scum by counterclaiming Cicero, but I didn't take it. Even so, I had a good time with this game, as it had a spectacular cast of players. Favorite moment: when Erg0 coined the term "The Jitsu Effect" on Day 3 (post 932).
