Peers is a geek... but then, he's playing Mafia online, so of course he is. He was introduced to the game in the summer of 2007 on Grey Dog Software in a themed game based on a fictional wrestling industry, and things went downhill from there. As far as Mafia goes, he's used to fast-moving (24-48 hour deadline) games that tend to be on the obscenely high-powered side (where everyone has some sort of power), and commonly gets headaches from trying not to laugh and/or scream at his players as they do something amazingly funny or cool, completely at random.
