There is currently controversy in regards to whether these should be legal or normal, due to how differently hydrae play from single-person slots. This is especially true of anonymous hydrae, as some mods and players do not wish to play with certain players who may join the game in a hydra.

There is currently controversy in regards to whether these should be normal, due to how differently hydrae play from single-person slots. Most hydrae are now disclosed as such (especially as some players/mods do not wish to play with them), but not necessarily who the component players are.
