3 of 5 is a 9 player Open Setup that features two mafia and seven townies. The final setup is generated by randomly selecting 3 of 5 possible additions.
Base Setup
Mechanics
Prior to the game, the moderator randomly selects three of the five following roles (without doubling up);
- If Cop, Doctor or Miller are selected, they replace a random Vanilla Townie in the setup. A selection of Vanilla Townie doesn't change anything. If mafia Roleblocker is selected, then one of the Mafia Goons is replaced by it.
- Once you have your final setup determined, randomise the roles and begin the game as usual.
- This game uses a Day Start.

Mafia Goon
- Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partner, [Player Name].
Abilities:
- Factional communication: During the night phase you may talk with your partner here [QuickTopic link].
- Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.
Win condition:
- You win when all members of the town have been eliminated or nothing can prevent this from occuring.
Mafia Roleblocker

- Each night phase, you may protect one player in the game from being nightkilled.

Town Miller

- Unfortunately for you, you also look very suspicious and will cause any Cop who investigates you to get a guilty result.
