Signup threads are where [[Game Moderator]]s collect the players for their game. Each of the [[Forums]] handles this differently: [[Mini Game]]s have a single thread for [[Mini Normal]] games and another for [[Mini Theme]] games, whereas [[Normal Game]]s and [[Theme Game]]s generally prefer to start a new thread, since they will often span more than a single page for a 20+ player game, burying old signups. [[Newbie Game]]s function similarly to the Mini Games, but require a certain ratio of inexperienced and experienced players in each game. [[Invitational]]s and [[Mish Mash]] games are generally given their own signup threads as well.

Unless there is a very good reason, all Signup Threads for Mafia games should be located in the [[Queue]] forum of the board. (Non-mafia signup threads are in MishMash, and sometimes serve double duty as the [[Game Thread]]). [[Replacement]]s may be sought either in your original signup thread, or in the [http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7898 Queue thread] specifically made for that purpose.
