Syntax

{{profile|}}

Use

This template can be used to place a link to a scummer's forum profile on their 'User:' page.
This template also automatically adds the Scummer into the Category:Scummers page, so that text is not necessary to place on the 'User:' page.
This template also automatically adds the {{tocright}} template onto the page.

Example

What you type What it looks like
{{profile|1432}}
  • The number that comes after the pipe is the player number; in this case: 1432
The player number can be found by looking at the URL of the player's profile.
Example: in the forums, the URL for LyingBrian's Profile is as follows:
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1432
The player number directly follows "u="; in this case: 1432
  • The template will automatically fill in the player's name based on the wiki page you place the template on.
    • The template does not care about namespaces meaning the above example placed on either LyingBrian or User:LyingBrian would have the same text for the link, "LyingBrian's Profile".
    • Make sure to check the player number before placing the template on a page. Putting the above example on Mr. Flay's page would create a link, "Mr. Flay's Profile, but would link to LyingBrian's Profile.
