Short for cardflip, a reference to MeatWorld mafia games in which each player had an index card in front of them, facedown, listing their role. On MafiaScum, this term refers to the results of a Death Scene, especially if it reveals anything about the player's alignment, faction, or role. For instance, a death scene such as this one:
Mokina, Vanilla Townie, was eliminated D2.
...could be recalled later as "Mokina flipped townie yesterday, so there must still be two mafia left." In No Reveal or Limited Reveal games, the results of a flip are lessened from the example.
In the context of an argument, this can also refer to someone changing their mind.
