Hi, names Ran. my goal is to win. I want to argue with people to see their motives, and I will be honest and townie as can be. I don't try to "avoid nk's" because that shouldn't be my focus. My preferences are to see everyone contributing and giving thoughts on other players/who is to be lynched. (Which is why I press others to actively post because discussion is good for town) I take things seriously. I ignore wifom and emotions. I'd LIKE to use VCA but I don't know how to do it yet, but I'll try it sometime. My problems: I can't convince people. I need to work on that. I play aggresively.

Names Carlos. I'm age 21. I have a girlfriend, and she goes by the username July here on Mafiascum. I introduced her to Mafia on Smashboards and Mafiascum. I like videogames. I'm a silly guy. I tend to ask alot of questions, and I tend to be one to give advice.
== How I was introduced to Mafia ==
Guess I'll add how I arrived here, and how I got into mafia. I come from Smash Boards http://www.smashboards.com. There is a mafia section called Dgames. If you are interested in playing out of site mafia with unknown meta, be my guest, join there. Anyways, I had a thread up about Super Mario. (A general discussion thread) It turned out a newbie mafia game was opening, I wasn't interested at all. I looked at how it played and was in fact, confused. My friend Terywj said that he would help me, so I said, "Ok, why not!" and I played. Funnily enough, I drew mafia. I was actually hoping for a town pm. Anyways, thanks to my scum buddy, SephirothsMasumune, I understood the concept a bit. He asked me if I ever played, and I said no. He then said "Ok, heres the plan, let's no kill, and get a tracker claim, and have the jailer lynched". I was like "Oh, no kill? But how does that get us a jailer claim? blah blah blah" In fact, here's my newb qt just for you to see at my raw newbieness: [redacted until it's on whitelist] I won with my partner (he replaced so I could get some support, he was having life). I was so invested to that game, it was so fun. I got MVP for it. I then went on to play my next game, Soul Calibur Mafia. I was town, and lynched D1 for answering someone else's question about Policy Lynhes. >_>

I then played many more games. I heard about Mafia Scum.net, and how it had great guides referring to mafia and even a forum just for mafia. I joined shortly thereafter, joined the newb here, and as you can see, progressed through the games you see here (Which are completed, not the ongoing ones)

So, this town was a bit on the newbie side. Most thought lying = scum tells, etc. Even so, Sensfan gambitted masons with Toast, who was also townie. Toast's reaction was obv townie, but he then coasted the rest of the game. ;-; Anyways, I then gambitted being daycop, saying I got an inno on Sensfan. I wanted more stances from players because everyone would have lynched Sensfan just for lying. Beck came in trying to diffuse the gambit. He was town tho, even tho he seemed scummy in the beggining. After a while one could tell he was hunting for scum in his own way. I later gave up and let myself be lynched because I didn't want to be a liability during lylo, because everyone felt I was scum for gambitting daycop. Sorry town. It was fun tho. And I was ok with gambitting since it was a speed game.

We could only talk at night, and I was doing my thing. Got head to head with LK, who was also town damn it. He played well though. I guess I had slight doubts of Imag, but I got distracted by Kunk hammering, Crazy hard defending him for a scummmy action, and DGB just being a bit... [Adjective for making me want to lynch her]. Even so, I was waffling HARD on her. I was going to go Crazy/Kunkstar first but Quilford hammered DGB saying "I just can't... I just can't..." which was kinda dumb. No dumb hammers plz. I'd have more to say but I don't remember. Even so, was a fun game, and a fun mechanic. Something to note, it seemed Crazy thought he'd have me on his side because of 'wifom' use and he was attacking someone who used it. He was confused as to why I was ok with it. I was just through experience.

D: Anyways Uite needed someone to replace in since I inned the que with my buddy stels. I replaced into a fresh game though. I was mafia, and once I replaced in, day started. This was my only gripe, was that I replaced in and didn't get much time to prep with my buddy, Epsilon Andrew. One thing you guys don't know, is that I'm very paranoid as scum. I have been like WAT at some of Ep's posts. His motives were to address my attackers or something. I of course made a whole wall of stuff (in word) for him to peruse so I could post it during the day and not waste time. He improved much afterwards. Luckily he wasn't looked hard upon, because of newbish vibes, and because the town was pretty wacky. Only person to notice me was Krazy, who had me as null. Rest of the town had me read as town. I didn't want to kill him at night because then I would be the only SE there, and it would seem weird for newbie scum to kill the IC but not the SE. OMG. I think I forgot to rolecop. Can you believe that? I forgot to send in an action. *facepalm* Even so I did use it at least once and found the jailer by accident! Basically I was talking about a popcorn setup, but not for claiming roles. Racer (da jailer) goes "NO!! NO MASSCLAIM!" So yeah. Ez role. Also, at lylo, I wanted to alpha stryke... But was paranoid since I didn't know if my buddy would be online or not. I'll just express both our thoughts through quotes: "Cmon Muffin man. I saw you post like 2 secs ago. Just vote stels now. I'm ready bro. *sees nothing* Ok man, I can tell telepathically that you don't want me to vote and screw this game up for us. Ok, I got ya. I won't vote. I'll drag it out instead" His thoughts: 'Yes, Ranmaru. Goddammit. I'm like "any day now, Ranmaru will post vote:Stels.... any day now.... Ranmaru? RANMARU?" Had to make idle chatter in the mean time.' Fun game none the less. I played well early but lurked later on because of LoL and stuff.

And I could have been lynched d1, since I claimed vt hahaha. To be fair, both the scum were having difficulties accessing computers enough times, so I'd have to be careful when they have time to play. Town win. (Also, it seems I caught swiss scum with the wrong reasons lol)

== Preferences ==
I like town more than mafia. I don't want to deal with the pressure of knowing who is town, etc. I would rather scumhunt and look for scum as town. I want to be right. I don't mind Power Roles, but I also like the Role Vanilla Townie. I tend to play power roles the wrong way I think. For example, I was a cop in a past off site game, and I was very vocal. I was put on the lynch line. : [ Even worse, I was an even night cop. :/ I did bad that game. Anyways, Town > Pr's > Mafia. I REALLY like masonries, even if it's life linked. I'd rather not be life linked, but I can deal with it. I also like discussing theory and such alot.
