Traditionally, the Faith Healer is a Doctor with a 50% chance of success.
On chatmafia.net, a Faith Healer protects a player from a single kill if that player has not been protected already, but undoes the protection from a single kill if the player is protected. In setups without other protective roles, this means that if an even number of Faith Healers target the same player, the target remains unprotected, but if an odd number of Faith Healers target the same player, that player is guaranteed to be protected from a single kill.
A combination of the two versions is notably seen in the Open setup Faith Plus One.
