In Mafia Discussion, sometimes there will be semi-formal discussion of how to deal with ethical issues in Mafia games. What follows is an incomplete list of those topics:
- Abandoned Closed-Setup Games (should players lie for personal gain about their role in a game that turned out abandoned?)
- Lying About Your Role in Another Game (is it okay for scum to lie about their role in a different game?)
- Various Topics (using the wiki to your advantage, using moderator-information in one game to help another, bandwagoning someone Day 1 based on personal sentiment, metagaming the mod's posts)
- Daytalking (specifically regarding Mafia/Mason groups talking during the Day in scumchat games)
- Subverting the Mod (should you disregard the spirit of your role if it benefits your Win Condition?)
- Trusting the Mod (how far should you trust what the moderator tells you?)
- Insults (how far can you be a jerkbag in a game?)
